About us

At Bullion, we handle the entire process from importing cocoa beans, right through to making the finished products such as bars, bakes and drinking chocolates.

Located in Cutlery Works Food Hall, we’re a café bar with a cornerstone of craft chocolate looking for a Café Bar Assistant to join our growing team. You will be at the heart of the cafe, and involved in a range of projects, from outreach to new bars about our Bullion Liqueur, to promoting and conducting events in our space.

 

About the Role

You’ll become an expert taster of all of our drinks, bakes, and bars and know how the chocolate origin impacts the flavour. While we’re craft chocolate makers, we also have a true passion and appreciation for coffee.

Customer experience is everything, we must ensure that we deliver exceptional experiences and help for all. In quieter times, you will replenish our retail area, clean the coffee machine and ensure shots are pouring consistently.

 

What you will be involved in/responsibilities:

- Preparation of hot drinks/food

- Providing excellent customer service

- Working individually and as part of a team

- Follow day-to-day café procedures and expectations

- Develop and proactively maintain skills across the board

- Maintain café hygiene standards as a top priority

- Opening and closing duties for the café

This role 4-16 hours per week, part-time. Shifts are a range of weekdays/weekends, and some evening shifts. We would love the person to be flexible and able to pick up additional shifts if needed.
